Leon Mege Lifetime Quality and Service Guarantee
Manufacturing defects in fine jewelry will show up soon after a piece is first worn, so a long warranty is rarely needed in practice. We offer a lifetime guarantee anyway because it is simple and clear: you don’t have to track deadlines or wonder whether a problem is covered by a time limit. Occasionally, people keep a finished piece unworn, put away safely for years. In those cases, a hidden issue may not appear until the piece is worn. The lifetime guarantee gives you peace of mind in that situation. We still recommend wearing and inspecting your piece soon after you receive it, and contacting us promptly if anything looks or feels wrong.
The Leon Mege name stands for exceptional craftsmanship, uncompromising quality, and enduring beauty. Every Leon Mege creation is made to the highest standards and is warranted for the life of the original owner against defects in materials and workmanship. Subject to verification, which requires the original receipt or proof of purchase.
What Is Covered
This guarantee covers manufacturing defects and latent workmanship defects that become apparent during normal use. Examples include:
- Structural metal fractures resulting from manufacturing defects
- Improperly secured gemstones due to workmanship
- Significant distortion or asymmetry caused by manufacturing errors
- Manufacturing-related finishing defects excluding minor porosity and scratches inherent to hand production.
- Other defects Leon Mege Inc. determines are attributable to materials or workmanship.
We inspect every item before delivery, including a magnified quality-control review, so defects are uncommon. If one is found, we will take all reasonable steps to correct it promptly. Whether a condition is a manufacturing defect is determined by Leon Mege Inc. after inspection.
If a covered defect is confirmed, Leon Mege Inc. will, at its sole discretion, repair the item, replace the affected component, remake the item, or provide another appropriate remedy. We perform warranty repairs free of charge and cover reasonable domestic shipping costs for approved claims.
Exclusions
Scratches, dents, worn prongs, thinning metal, surface abrasion, stretched rings, and worn settings are normal wear, not defects. As a courtesy, Leon Mege Inc. may perform certain repairs and maintenance at reduced cost, often charging only for materials and associated expenses rather than full labor. If an item looks damaged, loose, or defective, please stop wearing it and contact us promptly. The guarantee does not cover damage from ordinary wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, neglect, theft, loss, unauthorized modification, improper handling, natural disasters, war conflicts, acts of extreme stupidity, or other causes unrelated to manufacturing.
hese items are not covered by the warranty, because they result from normal wear and care rather than manufacturing defects.
- Rhodium plating: Rhodium plating is a bright white coating used on white gold jewelry but not on platinum. It is not permanent. It wears away gradually with use, so its loss is not a defect. The piece can be re-finished and plated again.
- Loss of diamond brilliance: Diamonds lose their sparkle when oils, lotions, and dirt build up on them. Regular cleaning is the best way to keep a diamond looking brilliant.
The following are not covered as they are services or items outside of manufacturing defects, and charges may apply:
- Visible soldering joints
- Any parts of a supplied chain not manufactured by Leon Mege
- Special-finish requests
- Lost removable parts such as earring backs
Fractures and Structural Damage
We will repair metal fractures, cracks, or structural failures caused by a manufacturing defect free of charge. We do not cover damage from impact, abuse, accidents, repeated bending, metal fatigue, improper use, or normal wear. If such damage can be repaired, the customer may be responsible for materials and any work outside this warranty.
Pavé Stones and Stone Loss
A brand-new piece that loses a stone is a clear sign of a possible manufacturing defect. Leon Mege Inc. will determine the extent of the issue during inspection and will repair the piece at no charge. Over time, however, the eventual loss of pavé stones is generally considered normal wear, because of the delicate nature of pavé settings.
- Micro pavé (smaller than 1.5 mm): We will replace missing stones at no charge if there is no obvious damage to the metalwork. You pay only for the shipping. This does not apply to any natural fancy colored diamonds and colored gemstones.
- Larger stones (over 2.0 mm): Because it is difficult to verify the circumstances of a loss, larger diamonds or gemstones are not included with the warranty. Replacing any stone larger than 2.0 mm is the customer’s responsibility and can be handled through insurance where applicable.
- Loose stones still in the setting: We will tighten or reset them free of charge unless additional repairs are needed.
Warranty Claim
1. Contact us first. Don’t worry; we are here to help and will resolve any issue as soon as possible. Before sending an item for inspection, repair, or warranty evaluation, contact Leon Mege Inc. to discuss the issue, possible remedies, and next steps.
2. Inspection. Upon receipt, we examine the item to determine the nature and cause of the condition.
3. Outcome. If a covered defect is confirmed, we perform the necessary work under this warranty. If no defect is found, or the cause is excluded, we may decline warranty service and provide an estimate for non-warranty repairs. Return shipping and related expenses may be charged to the customer.

- The customer has not complied with Leon Mege Inc.’s care, maintenance, or warranty procedures.
